Who isn’t a photographer these days? In addition to capturing moments to record them as personal history, I have made attempts to discover for myself what makes an artistic photograph.
Through my Lense
Inspired by the idea of quality and how I might recognize it, even if I do not know what makes it, I attempt to find some pleasure in the beauty that I find through the lens of my phone or small camera.
Beauty is the attraction, noticing where I am.
The pictures here are divided into galleries based on themes.
Some are of places during travels. India, Guatemala, Vietnam (several trips and times), Laos, Sri Lanka, Bali, Borneo, Cambodia, Thailand, France, Spain, Belgium and the U.S., all over.
Some are pictures from the here and now, daily life, wherever that might be.
. I acknowledge that some of my more beautiful photos come from being in beautiful places…when the light is right and the moment gets calls for a picture. Enjoy!
People are always interesting to me. I see much in the faces, and in the body language of interactions.
